Specialized Parent Training (C.R.R.I.B.)
We created a unique parent training program that combines 7 steps For Instructional Control by Robert Shramm, Rapid Skills Training, and OPT-in Early Online Parent Training in Early Behavioral Intervention developed by UCONN colleagues.
We want parents to understand the science of behavior analysis, why it works, and how to implement it at home. This program is accessible for parents who don’t have a degree in Behavior Analysis. It's practical and helps parents to understand what we are doing and why.
You are the bedrock component of the development of your child, your behaviors, interactions, and reactions matter. This program gives you the tools to make the changes that are quintessential to finding harmony, through intentional action, in your home.
How Parent Training Works
Parents who participate in this program will join a group of parents and go through the training. Training groups will meet monthly and will be a combination of educational material as well as group discussions amongst people who understand what you are going through.
C.R.R.I.B is equipping you with the tools needed to effectively partner in the treatment of your child. As an engaged mother and board-certified behavioral analyst, I seek to bring you into the know. By giving you real, actionable information on how and why your child is reacting and interacting with the world around them the way that they are. You don’t have to be in the dark about what is going on in the little person that you love so dearly. You can learn to recognize and respond from a place of informed insight.
