RBT Job Description & Qualifications
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll have the opportunity to work with children diagnosed with autism and make a positive impact in their lives.

Job Type: Full-time or part-time
Responsibilities:
As a valued team member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in their homes or at our Triangle ABA clinic. You will collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans using data collection software, such as Central Reach, and provide hands-on, direct care while adhering to the principles of ABA.
You’ll need to follow all policies and procedures, including confidentiality and mandated reporting standards set by Triangle ABA LLC. Additionally, you’ll maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices on and off the job.
Clear and effective communication with clients, families, and colleagues is crucial, both orally and in writing. You’ll provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals, attend meetings, and participate in career training and workshops to stay up to date and expand your knowledge.

We’re seeking a kind, empathetic individual with a strong desire to learn and grow who holds a Registered Behavior Technician credential and has prior experience working with children with an autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders and delays.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate sensitivity in working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children and can remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clients.
Additionally, reliable transportation is a must, as well as the ability to stand and stay on your feet for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift to 50 pounds. The candidate must also hold a current and valid CPR certification and pass a successful background clearance and reference checks.
While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, some college experience or degree is preferred. Join our team and be a part of our commitment to positively impacting the lives of children and families.
